ABOUT LA LUZ WELLNESS

My passion for health and movement led me to earn a degree in Human Performance and Physical Education. I delved into biomechanics, fascinated by the intricacies of the human body. I became a certified Personal Trainer through ACSM and later served as the Healthy Living Director at the Pikes Peak YMCA in Colorado Springs, where I worked to bring impactful health programs to the community that empowered families to create sustainable lifestyle changes.

My journey deepened when I studied at the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy, gaining expertise in Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), Integrative Techniques, and Trigger Point Release. Currently, as an Assistive Technology Professional at Numotion, I work with providers and clinicians to help individuals with mobility limitations gain independence and enhance their quality of life. Witnessing how conventional treatments often address only part of the picture, I began exploring holistic modalities that support both physical and emotional well-being.

This realization led me to become a 3rd Degree Usui Reiki Master and train in the Gillespie Approach Craniosacral Fascial Therapy. Through my practice, I integrate science and spirituality, honoring both empirical knowledge and the profound wisdom of energy healing. My approach fosters deep relaxation, self-awareness, and a renewed sense of connection to something greater than ourselves.
